Annual Day Productions

Our Educational Vision

Phoenix Theatre-In-Education Company has been organizing annual day play productions and theatre festivals consisting of a large ensemble cast. Our vision and perception of making plays is educational. Though the final show is very important, the journey of making and rehearsing the play is far more important; we see it as a learning tool.

The Creative Process

Instead of imposing characters and dialogues on the participants, we devise the play within our workshops. As students research, share, and brainstorm on chosen themes, they gain in-depth knowledge about the topic. This motivates them to put it up as a show. They evolve the play through improvisations, debates, and research, which gives them the confidence and ownership of a production that targets teamwork, creativity, language development, and learning life skills.

Professional Support & Venues

Phoenix facilitators guide the actors to incorporate all the necessary elements of the finished piece, including writing, direction, sets, costume, and lighting. The company also provides a team of choreographers and complete stage services regarding the latest lights-sound equipment and recording studio facilities for musical ballets.
